Fall is just around the corner, which means it’s time to shop for some fabulous fall finds. As summer winds down, there’s no way I’d rather spend cooler mornings – the ones that remind me of fall – than planning my fall displays. When I walk into a cozy, fall-themed home with pumpkin spice scents permeating the air, my heart is full.
Fall is by far my favorite season, and I love finding easy ways each year to maximize the season by incorporating fall touches throughout my home. I personally prefer creating a rustic fall theme, filled with plaid linens, galvanized decor, pumpkin everything, wood textures, and burlap accents.
It can be easy to overlook ‘everyday’ decor items, like lanterns and pitchers, but sometimes those ‘everyday’ items make the perfect accent pieces. It’s also fun to repurpose items into your fall displays. If you have a plaid scarf, for example, that may be the ideal texture to incorporate in your entryway display, and it can easily pass-off as a throw. Your guests will never know the difference!
Next time you’re creating a fall display, consider mixing and matching rustic decor items to make a beautiful, seasonal display. Remember that you don’t have to spend a fortune to create a beautiful look. All of the below items are under $40!

6″ Autumn Harvest Bronze Burlap Pumpkin with Bamboo – Unique finds are usually a good bet when it comes to decorating. This burlap and bamboo pumpkin fits the bill.
Vintage Slate Kitchen Chalkboard – This mini chalkboard would be a nice mix-up from pumpkin decor. Propped next to some pumpkins, it could have a cute fall saying like “Pumpkin kisses & harvest wishes” or “Pumpkin, spice and everything nice.”
Gather Rustic Wood Wall Sign – This is the perfect rustic sign for throughout the entire fall season. It makes the perfect statement, literally, for Thanksgiving.
Women’s College Plaid Runway Wrap Scarf – Scarves can be used in so many other ways than just the traditional sense. If you don’t have a plaid throw handy but you have a scarf with an autumn pattern, you can pass it off as a throw. Just lay it in a wicker basket with a fall pillow overtop, and you’ve made a beautiful little display. Another great way to use a scarf is as a table accessory. If you have the right sized scarf and lay it in just the right way, it can easily pass off as a pretty table runner.
Distressed Metal Two-Tiered Square Display Stand – If you have a few mini pumpkins, this distressed display stand would hold them beautifully.
Caffco International Biltmore Inspirations Collection Olmsted Oak Mugs – These sweet mugs are just the right fall color. I see myself nestled up with a plaid throw by a roaring fire with this mug, and in it some hot cocoa. Pure bliss.
Small Galvanized Metal Collapsible Pumpkin – This is such a cool galvanized pumpkin.

Distressed Wood Nesting Boxes – Nesting boxes. Enough said.
Happy Harvest Farms Tin Metal Ornie Ornament – How sweet is this little ornament?
Tall Torched Wood Square Planter – I love, love, love this planter! It would really be a beautiful planter all year long, but it definitely says fall to me more than any other season.

Craft Outlet Wicker Pumpkin – Wicker is a perfect fall texture. This little guy is so cute!

72 Inch Harvest Garland with Pumpkins, Leaves, Pinecones and Berries – This gorgeous farmhouse-inspired garland may be the finishing piece you need for your fall mantel.
Happy Pumpkin Everything! Wall Box Sign – If you love pumpkins as much as I do, this sign will speak to you as it does me.
36″ Long Assorted Autumn Pumpkins Teardrop – When my husband and I bought our brick home, the previous owners left us some random decor items. To this day, my favorite decor items that the previous owner left us are two fall-themed teardrops. Hung on either side of our front door, they make such a statement. I never realized how much I love teardrops until I received some of my own. Every time I pull into my driveway during the autumn season and see them hung, my heart sings a little.
